Notary Services
We provide both local or mobile notary services.
Pursuant to RSMo (§)486.685.1 – “Fees. For performing a notarial act, a notary may charge the maximum fee specified in this section, charge less than the maximum fee, or waive the fee.”
Pursuant to RSMo (§)486.685.2 – “The maximum fees that may be charged by a notary for performing notarial acts are:

Mobile Notary Services
According to Missouri Statute the notary and the person requesting the notarial act agree upon the travel fee in advance of the travel. Therefore, you will see on the form that the terms are agreed to prior to acceptance of payment.; and
Further, the notary shall explain to the person requesting the notarial act that the travel fee is both separate from the notarial fee as detailed in the above table. Additionally, the travel fees are not specified by statute, as they are not required nor mandated by law.
We charge a rate of $4.50 per mile using city to city distances, for example Columbia to Booneville is 25.3 miles (google search) 25.3 x $4.50 = $113.85 for travel plus the notary fee typically $5.00 would be a final bill of $118.85, with the 2 entries listed on the invoice separating out the charges.
